Buddy Steele is a senior learning strategist with Gallup based out of Ft. Worth, Texas. He is an experienced leader whose primary expertise is in Gallup's behavioral and workplace sciences. In addition to architecting Gallup courses, Buddy works directly with clients to strategize and develop transformational programs related to learning and development, talent development, learning analytics, and change management initiatives that drive performance outcomes. Buddy has published research articles as an expert on topics related to technology-enabled workplace learning, motivational psychology in learning environments, and learner engagement in the workplace. He has been a frequent presenter at international conferences, such as The International Society for Technology in Education, E-Learn, and The Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education and has contributed chapters in various publications focused on higher-education and workplace learning. He has also taught graduate-level courses on instructional systems design and adult-learning principles. Buddy holds a doctorate in learning technologies from the University of North Texas. He also has a master’s in instructional technology from Texas Tech University and a bachelor's degree in film and digital media from Baylor University.
